Find out where Richard stands on the new Teacher Evaluation, Testing, & Standards
* Education should be personalized, not standardized. Each child
enters school with different needs. A personalized education allows teachers
time to interact with their students individually. Class size should allow
teachers the opportunity to address individual learning needs.
* Less Paperwork, More Instructional Time. End unnecessary data
collection, meaningless paperwork, repetitive documentation.
* Less Testing, More Teaching. Evaluate to educate. Teach to the child
and not the test.
* Full School Year. End furlough days and reinstate the 180 day school
year throughout Georgia.
* Multiple Paths for Graduation. Avoid the one-size-fits-all approach to
education by providing multiple avenues to graduate.
* Expand Course Offerings. Expand elective choice that provides
challenging, real world application (ex. technical, agricultural, and
apprenticeship educational opportunities).
